Description
Bed and Breakfast La Signoria di Firenze stands in the heart of Florence, 20 metres from Signoria Square, in the charming scenery of the historical center of Florence. The Palace, which houses the B&B, is located in one of the most ancient Florentine city streets, just a stone's throw from the major monumental buildings and museums, in the street joining Piazza della Signoria with a small market square known as Loggia del Porcellino. In this Loggia had been established the Art of Merchants, Calimala. The restoration of this building has respected its structure and nature: it has been designed to include an adequate number of bathrooms, sleeping areas, a common area and the various facilities required by the current housing needs. The old decorations on the ceilings were kept safe and all the floors are precious Tuscan oak. The finishings that characterize the apartment, also in the style chosen for the decoration of the baths, are in perfect harmony with the set and the typical Florentine style. In this old building, we have at the first floor (without elevator) five prestigious rooms renovated and furnished in compliance with the Florentine tradition without losing touch with modernity, the new demands of our time and with maximum comfort. Our rooms are dedicated to five artists who lived between 1400 and 1500 that have affected the culture of the Florentine with works that are now kept in churches and museums closeby to the B&B La Signoria di Firenze. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and wired Internet available with your own laptop (we provide the ethernet cables required), DTB TV, luggage-based, minibar, safe deposit box in each room. The B&B indoor is characterized by great attention to details: elements of design, precious fabrics and luxury finishes, typical florentine furniture.
