Description
This wonderful bright Rome apartment is located not only in one of Rome's oldest and unchanged historic areas called Trastevere, but also in one of the oldest buildings dating back to 1600, right in front of one of Romes most ancient temples. The building is directly across the road from Rome's Tiber River, a great place to stay with its many activities. This friendly and creative part of Rome is an ancient Piazza set in cobblestones and surrounded by sidewalk cafes, old churches and temples, where you'll find this wonderful apartment on the second floor, bright and homely. The small entrance takes you to a large living room which has terracotta tiles throughout and comfortable couches overlooking the ancient Roman rooftops from the large windows throughout the apartment. Off the spacious main living room you'll find a state of the art kitchen in stainless steel and a long wooden dining table, unusual decor for Rome, yet well chosen to mix the old and new. The first master bedroom has windows overlooking the churches and an en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi. The second bedroom has a double bed in the loft area and two more bunk beds below. There's a second marble bathroom with a shower. Trastevere is a unique area to explore and you'll find ancient history around every corner of this friendly area, which is also easily accessible to all the famous landmarks and monuments that you wish to visit whilst in Rome.
