Description

The apartment is located in the historic Palazzo Pamphily Lecca di Guevara, at second floor, all windows fronting via Giulia. The building has been recently and finely restored. Although a modern elevator is available, it is suggested, at least for the first time, to reach the apartment climbing the magnificent “scalinata”. Approximately 90 sqm with 4m high ceiling, it includes a small entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, a living with two comfortable sofabeds, a second living with an 'alcova' where you can find a double-bed, the closet in a little corridor, a bathroom with tub and shower. Via Giulia, where the building is located, was designed by Bramante on the orders of Pope Julius II. It is almost a kilometre magnificent palaces and churches dating from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Nowadays, this is a street known best for its refined antique shops, as well as being simply one of the most attractive streets in Rome. The Palace is a minute far from Palazzo Farnese e 3 minutes walking from the famous Campo dei Fiori, the place of a picturesque morning market. The neighbourhood is plenty of antique dealers, bookshops, little craft shops and various curiosities. The area is also plenty of restaurants, bars, pizzerias, pubs, wineries for all tastes and pockets. Cinemas, theatres, concert music hall are reachable few minutes walking. Trastevere is 10 minutes walking just crossing the romantic "Ponte Sisto" pedestrian bridge, in the past used by pilgrims that aimed to S. Pietro.
